It’s hard to believe that we’re in the fourth quarter of 2016!  This year has really flown by, and I hope that this message finds your business doing well.

Do you have strong expertise in a specific valuation practice area? Have you ever considered sharing that knowledge with your fellow appraisers and others? If so, I’d like to encourage you to consider submitting a presentation proposal for the 2017 International Valuation Conference.

AI Seeks Proposals for 2017 Conference’s Educational Sessions

The Appraisal Institute is still seeking presentation proposals for the 2017 International Valuation Conference, to be held June 8-11, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and hosted by AI and the Appraisal Institute of Canada. But hurry: the deadline is now 11:59 p.m. CDT November 4.

The submission process is very user-friendly, and doesn’t require too much time. So, if you have an idea, I highly encourage you to submit it for consideration.

Participants of the 2016 AI Annual Conference identified high interest in the following topics:

  • New technology and resources;
  • Expert testimony;
  • Appraisal review trends for appraisers and lenders;
  • Green buildings;
  • Market analysis;
  • Review expectations and regulatory impact;
  • International valuation; and
  • Property rights.
