Alison Levine, Mountain Climber and Author, to Keynote AI Annual Conference

Levine ScreenshotThe keynote speaker for the 2018 Appraisal Institute Annual Conference will be Alison Levine, a best-selling author and mountain climber who focuses on leading teams in extreme environments.

The 2018 Appraisal Institute Annual Conference will be held July 30 – Aug. 1 at the JW Marriott in Nashville, Tennessee.

Levine, the team captain of the first American Women’s Everest Expedition, asserts that the principles that apply to the world of extreme adventure also apply to demanding business environments. Having skied across the Arctic Circle to the geographic North Pole, her work demonstrates how progress can be made going backward, why egos are a good thing and how complacency can kill you.

In addition to hearing Levine’s perspectives on leadership, attendees also will be able to partake in the following activities:

  • Exceptional education sessions;
  • Interesting speakers;
  • Networking with peers and
  • An awards ceremony.

Attendees also will hear from Don Gossman, SRA, an appraiser and author who worked with the FBI and U.S. Attorney’s office to help break up a mortgage fraud ring.
