Appraisal Institute Announces Keynote Speaker for 2014 Annual Meeting

In the organization’s latest video, Appraisal Institute President Ken P. Wilson, MAI, SRA; President-Elect M. Lance Coyle, MAI, SRA; and Vice President J. Scott Robinson, MAI, SRA , AI-GRS, discuss AI’s 2014 Annual Meeting, a first-class event that brings together valuation and other real estate professionals from across the country and around the world.


The Annual Meeting will be held August 4 – 6 at the Hilton Austin hotel in Austin, Texas.

Attendees at the Appraisal Institute Annual Meeting will have the chance to experience exceptional education programs, including the chance to earn Appraisal Institute continuing education credit and state credit.

There will be opportunities for networking, cutting-edge exhibits of valuation products and services, an exciting awards program honoring some of the most accomplished individuals in the valuation profession, and many fun activities throughout the Austin area.

This year’s keynote speaker is former astronaut Eugene A. Cernan, the last man to walk on the moon. During his 20 years as a Naval Aviator, including 13 years with NASA, Captain Cernan left his mark on history with three missions in space.

Having flown to the moon twice, he was the second American to walk in space and is the last man to have left his footprints on the lunar surface. Captain Cernan is also author of the book “The Last Man on the Moon,” which tells his inspirational story.
