Appraisal Institute Celebrates 90 Years 
The Appraisal Institute will celebrate its 90th year in 2022, kicking off a year-long celebration of this incredible organization and its long history of serving the profession. This milestone is a testament to the hard work of thousands of AI professionals who have contributed to the advancement of the organization every day for nearly a century. 

In celebration of this milestone anniversary, the Appraisal Institute logo is getting a new look. You’ll see this on our social media channels as we usher in the Appraisal Institute’s 90th year. 

As always, thank you for your continued support of the Appraisal Institute and its mission.

Appraisal Institute Seeks 2023 Vice President Candidates
The Appraisal Institute is seeking individuals interested in serving as the 2023 vice president of the Appraisal Institute. The 2023 vice president succeeds to the office of the 2024 president-elect, 2025 president and 2026 immediate past president.

If you are interested in serving, or wish to recommend someone for the position, please email your written recommendation to:

The deadline for submission is 5 p.m. CST, Feb. 7, 2022.

Qualifications for 2023 vice president can be found in the Appraisal Institute Bylaws and on the Appraisal Institute’s Website.

Candidates cannot serve as a member of the National Nominating Committee at any time during the year in which his or her candidacy would be considered.  

The National Nominating Committee will interview candidates May 10-11, 2022.

As the year comes to a close, so too does my year as president of the Appraisal Institute. I started this journey as an Appraisal Institute volunteer and know how hard our volunteers work every day to make this organization thrive. I applaud our many volunteers, leaders and staff for keeping AI at the forefront of this profession. 

After 90 years, the state of the Appraisal Institute is still strong and we have each of you to thank. I have cherished the opportunity to lead AI and look forward to doing what I can to move this organization forward in the years to come.
