VIDEO: International Valuation Conference Offers Exciting Off-site Activities

UntitledIn the Appraisal Institute’s latest video, AI Chief Executive Officer Frederick H. Grubbe, CAE, MBA, is joined by Appraisal Institute of Canada Chief Executive Officer Keith Lancastle, CAE, MBA, to discuss the off-site and networking opportunities awaiting attendees at this year’s International Valuation Conference, taking place June 8 – 11 in Ottawa, Ontario.

This is the first time in 13 years that the Appraisal Institute and Appraisal Institute of Canada will co-host an annual conference.

In addition to outstanding education opportunities, attendees at the International Valuation Conference can look forward to fun and exciting ways to meet new people, connect with old friends and explore the city of Ottawa. These options include:

  • A golf tournament where attendees can get in the spirit of friendly competition;
  • The Ottawa valuation tour, featuring a look at several of the city’s signature development projects;
  • A networking night at the Canadian War Museum, which houses more than 3 million artifacts in its collection; and
  • A post-conference brewery tour where attendees can learn more about the craft beer brewing process and try some local samples.

Attendees also will  have the privilege of visiting Canada’s capital city as Canadians celebrate the country’s 150th anniversary.

There are plenty of hotel options within walking distance of the conference center. Early bird registration ends April 18, so register today to get the best available rate!
